OUR ORIGIN STORY

Engineering and Construction Innovations, Inc. (ECI) was established in September of 1999 by Robb Johnson, PE (President) and Shane McFadden, PE (CEO). ECI is a full service self-performing heavy civil contractor servicing public and heavy industrial clients in the Midwest and throughout the United States with a comprehensive, innovative, and diverse project solutions platform utilizing the talents and capabilities of each member of our organization to make our client’s projects successful.

ECI specializes in the construction and rehabilitation of tunnels, shafts, dams, hydroelectric facilities, sewer/water systems, structural rehabilitation, geotechnical construction, design-build, and a myriad of other heavy civil services. ECI has demonstrated experience providing our clients’ projects delivered ahead of schedule and on budget. Our field supervisors and managing engineers average more than 20 years of construction experience in the most challenging environments. The company focuses on difficult and technically complex projects where its engineering and construction expertise can be well applied. ECI has successfully completed a wide range of projects of varying size and scope.
